look at that pretty salad! Yeah! I made that beast. I roasted the beets and made a dressing and everything. Then I ate it. Or tried to eat it. All I can say is that when there seems to be an ingredient that doesn’t seem to belong, like SESAME OIL and you’re not sure how it will turn out… stick with what you know and don’t try anything fancy.

EVERYTHING tasted like SESAME SEEDS! and not that I don’t like sesame seeds but the flavor did not match what I wanted it to taste like.

So now I have to toss the dressing and I pretty much wasted a few ingredients like the prized beets that I so carefully took care of!

Le sigh….

I will be trying out some other beet recipes this week to see what I can come up with. I like the flavor and since they are super good for you I’m willing to put in the effort it takes to cook with them.
